KNOW YOUR FARMER -- KNOW YOUR FOOD

-- Bill Jordan Jr --
CSA
FROM JORDAN'S FARM
WHAT IS A CSA?
An IMPORTANT way for you to support and invest in local agriculture. This time of year farms are purchasing seed and getting ready to start up their greenhouses, which means soil, heat, water and other expenses. Buying CSA shares now are a way for the community to help farmers pay for these costs and get a discounted price on fresh, high quality food during the growing season. There are many models -- the one used at Jordan's Farm is a pre-pay at a discount and self selection of products at our farm stand from our "bus" during the growing season.
You can purchase CSA shares for you and your family or as a gift for a friend/neighbor -- it's easy --
