How does the CSA at Jordan's Farm work?

Our CSA is a self-select model. What this means is that you shop at our farm stand (or on our mobile farm stand) selecting from the products available.

What can I purchase with my CSA?

You can purchase anything we sell, even seedlings and compost. At the farm stand you find a variety of Maine products, baked goods and produce. All of these items are available under our CSA.

How many shares can I buy?

We suggest that you not buy more than five shares.

Can other people use my CSA?

Yes, when we set your account up for the season we will ask you to identify others who can use the CSA.

My employer offers a rebate for participating in a CSA how to I receive a receipt?

Once we have received your check we will send a receipt via e-mail noting the shares purchased. This can be submitted to your employer as proof of participation.

When does the CSA start and how long does it run?

Our season at the farm stand starts the Wednesday before Mother’s Day and runs until the end of November. Our mobile farm stand is on the road from the Monday after the 4th of July until Halloween.

What if I have balance left at the end of the season?

You can choose to carry it over until next season or we will refund the balance.
