Get Real, Get Maine

There's a lot of discussion in the food world about organic, conventional, commercial and a number of other terms. Our practices at Jordan's Farm focus on SUSTAINABLE. Jordan's Farm is a business and thus could be considered "commercial". I put forth the argument that if a farm does not have a commercial focus than the business model is not sustainable. We can discuss terms -- but my belief is we all have the same goal no matter what label a farm applies to itself and that is the goal of growing good healthy safe food to FEED PEOPLE at a price that ensures a viable business.
